Hi, I’m Destiny! I was born in Detroit, Michigan but my family is originally from Earle, right here in Arkansas. I’m a paralegal at Lion Legal.
I grew up with eight siblings and have the stereotypical middle-child personality. I came to Arkansas by way of Virginia, where I attended Thomas Nelson Community College and earned an associate degree in paralegal studies. I later attended Old Dominion University, earning a bachelor’s in criminology, which comes in quite handy in cases involving criminal and family law.
Legal issues can be very stressful. We often meet folks at one of the worst times in their life. The opportunity to be a glimmer of hope is what keeps me going. I love helping people and making a positive impact!
My two sons keep me busy, happy — and very, very grateful for life’s blessings. Outside of work, I love sports, music, traveling, and volunteering, particularly as an advocate for children with autism and other special needs. Every day is a gift and my mantra is progress over perfection as I live this one life of ours.
